5 plane rides, 11+ rounds of golf and practice sessions, 106,267 steps logged in 4 states golfing. I was able to add 3 new states and 4 states total to the birdie count. There were many lessons learned here.
Rolling clothes definitely allows for more clothes in a suitcase. I was able to get 8 days worth of golf outfits, lounging clothes, extra pair of golf shoes, and toiletry bag.
2nd takeaway is to not rent from Dollar Rental Cars in Vegas. They overbook and blame it on 3rd party sites. I waited for 45 minutes to get to the counter, and then in line outside for 2 hours for a car to be turned around. SUV’s had a longer wait time. DON’T DO IT!
3rd is that there are some spectacular golf courses out west. If they had a better location, St George UT and Mesquite NV would be a major golf destination. There are also some really nice golf courses in New Mexico. More to come on this part.
