State #26: Alabama

Audemus jura nostra defendere

In my spring trip, I was able to play quite a bit of golf courses in Alabama. The first birdie came while trying to out race the heavy rain. I got to the par 3 7th hole. Today it was playing 163 yards to the middle left of the green. Being cold and rainy, I took an extra club and swung smoothly. The ball had perfect tv golf pro kind of trajectory. It landed short of the pin by 4 feet. This putt had a tricky left to right break. It seemed to take forever to make it to the hole, and rolled in on the low side. Phew! The 1 and only time I will actually say it, Roll Tide!

Courses Left on my Bucket List
Shoal Creek
Farmlinks
