I had the great privilege of being invited out to play at Oakland Hills South. This renovation that was completed is absolutely phenomenal. Walking to the first tee box, it hits hard how many of the golfing greats have stood exactly where I was at. There is a ton of pressure to hit a good ball to start your day. I pulled my drive slightly into the rough. I hit an 8 iron out of the rough on to the front of the green. I had about at 15 foot putt for birdie to start my day. I saw that it was straight up the fall line. My thought was just get it there, and I did. There is no better feeling getting started with a birdie.
