State #16: North Dakota

Liberty and union, now and forever, one and inseparable

Bully Pulpit’s holes 14-17 are some of the most breathtaking stretch I’ve had the opportunity to play. They all have elevated tee boxes that overlook the scenic badlands that this course is built in. The hole pictured above is #14. This is rated the hardest hole on the course due to the narrow landing area, that happens to be sloped from left to right. This is where I happen to set up the stage for my North Dakota birdie. I hit a drive that fades perfectly into the slope and stays in the middle of the fairway. I had around 140 yards left and hit a nice 9 iron to around 15 feet. I sink the putt and have the ability to enjoy the scenery the rest of the day.
