This birdie was one that I didn’t even realize I had accomplished until the hole was over. Being able to see one of my closest friends for the first time in years, we were intrenched in deep conversation about life at Butler’s Golf Course. After walking off the 14th green, I started counting and stopped at 3. What do you know, the first no stress birdie in a while. Maybe the new strategy is to think 1 shot at a time and add it up at the end.
