Mountain State

I got the West Virginia birdie at the absolutely gorgeous Pete Dye GC. The par 4 12th hole, is a short 330 yard hole that can be played a variety of different ways. I hit a 5 wood that left me around 90 yards out. Hit a wedge to 10 feet and left myself a testy right to lefter. I took my time, lined it up and sunk it. Walking off the green, there is a plaque and bell that say that Pete had dedicated this hole to his dad. It really hit home as it had only been a few months since my dad had passed from COVID.
