The Peach State

This was an interesting couple of days in Georgia. This was the first time that the birdie all 50 states challenge was in play. I got invited to play both courses at the GC of Georgia. I played the Creekside on the 1st day, and Lakeside on the 2nd day. On day 1, I played great. I just couldn’t make any putts. Day 2, we started on hole 3. Again, I just couldn’t make a putt to save my life. On to the 36th hole of the weekend. Very last one. Hit a nice 3 wood that stopped just short of the drop off to the creek. Hit a great iron shot into the green. 2 of the others that I was playing with, balls were in a line behind me. I got to watch both of their putts. I was able to make my 10 footer. What a way to end the weekend!
